Unfortunately it’s been missing from XBMC for a variety of reasons, until now. According to the older questions. (June 2012) there was, at the time, no feasible way to view Netflix (and, I assume, Amazon Instant video and similar) content on the Pi, or on any Linux since they use(d) Silverlight (duh). Windows 7 Ultimate, boot directly into XBMC (see this), use Advanced Launcher Addon to open up Netflix from Windows Media Center (see this). I do this and it is seamless. Plus, backing out of Netflix brings you right back to XBMC. I also use Gotham (v13.2). Netflix app HDR works, but doesn't auto adjust to the content frame rate. Kodi Netflix addon works, and Kodi auto changes the Shield's refresh to match the frame rate, but won't trigger HDR. The best result would be for the Netflix app to do refresh changes, but given their track record its unlikely they'll ever implement a feature for such a
